Archdiocesan Services

  • Adult Education
Scripture classes are offered morning and evening one day a week during the year, except in the summer months. Adults are encouraged to avail themselves of these classes. They are also invited to participate in the instructions given to those inquiring into the Catholic Faith--The RCIA classes.
  • Catholic School Education
The Leavenworth Catholic School System is comprised of the Xavier Elementary School (pre-school through eighth grade) and Immaculata High School (9th through 12th grade). Before and after school care is offered for grades K through 8.
The system works with the family in educating our young people in the important lessons of life.
Information on these schools may be obtained by calling 682-6348 for pre-school and kindergarten, 682-3135 for grades 1 through 8, and 682-3900 for high school. During the summer months when school is not in session, call the parish office, 772-2424.
  • CCD for Public School Students
Volunteer teachers, aides and substitutes are always needed for the CCD Program. Classes are given weekly from September through May for kindergarten to 12th grade on WEDNESDAY EVENINGS from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.. Changes in times and places are announced at the beginning of the school year. A nominal fee is charged to help defray expenses for books and other supplies. CCD classes should take precedent over sports, plays, and other secular activities.
