Organizations of the Leavenworth Catholic Pastoral Region
Birthright Office
is located at 221-A, Delaware St. in Leavenworth. Services include pregnancy tests, maternity and baby clothing, referrals to other agencies, and "someone to talk to" about any difficulties surrounding pregnancy. All Birthright services are confidential.
Birthright will accept donation of money, clothing and baby furniture; and volunteers are always needed to staff the office.

Catholic Social Service
is unique in that it has accessibility to all the professional services for clients provided through the Central Office, i.e., Pregnancy Counseling, Adoption, Therapeutic Foster Care, Family/Individual Counseling, Foster Grandparent, Handicapped Services, Refugee Programs. The Leavenworth office offers case management for clients in Catholic Community Services transitional homes and the VA transition house. The service provides a critical component for clients referred from the Alliance Against Family Violence, the Salvation Army, the Northeast Kansas Mental Health Center, VA, Good Shepherd in Tonganoxie as well as referrals from churches, and schools. Clients are not screened for religious preference. Services are available to anyone in need. Some of the specific services provided by the agency include: assisting clients with rent and utility payments based on need; offering emergency shelter for the homeless; providing school supply packets to children who are in need of assistance; assisting with job placement and providing holiday meals. This agency is the only resource available in Leavenworth County that can facilitate turning water on for those who are unable to pay, due to special circumstances.

Council of Catholic Women (CCW). District III, Leavenworth Region of the Ardiocesan Council of Catholic Women
, is composed of affiliations of parishes in this part of the Archdiocese. It meets quarterly, normally one week following the Ardiocesan Council Board meeting.
Affiliated organizations host the meetings which are open to all Catholic women and their guests. Announcements of time and place of meetings are made in the parish bulletin.

Daughters of Isabella
is a fraternal organization for women 16 years of age and older. It strives to establish a bond of unity among members in the Catholic Church spiritually, socially, charitably, and intellectually. Its motto is "Unity, Friendship, and Charity."
Leavenworth Circle #229, Daughters of Isabella, meets on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 PM at St. Jospeh Hall No meetings are held in January or February.

Leavenworth Assistance Center
, located at 426 Miami St in Leavenworth, provides food, clothing and furniture (when available) to the needy of the area. Their supplies and services depend on the generosity of the public. Most area churches have monthly collections of food to stock the shelves of the "Emergency Assistance Center" and donations from all persons and organizations are welcome.

Regional Finance Council
is comprised of representatives of all parishes in the Leavenworth Catholic Pastoral Region. It is concerned with financial matters common to all churches in the region; i.e., Catholic School assessments, stewardship, etc.
St. Vincent Clinic
provides health care for low income persons and families who are without health benefits. Its services are available at the main clinic, 818 North 7th St. in Leavenworth, five days a week, including evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The medical team at the clinic includes a family practice physician, a physicians assistant, and a registered nurse.
Specialized services are provided through the cooperation of local hospitals and a volunteer network from the medical community.

The School Council of the Leavenworth Catholic School System
serves as a consultative group to the pastors and principals in ensuring the best possible religious and academic education for the students attending the Leavenworth Catholic Schools.
The School Council meets monthly during the school year on the first Monday in the Ross Conference Room at the Kickapoo Campus of the Xaiver School system.
